A tribute to my stolen phone.
(1st September 2005 – 21st October 2007)
My phone was stolen at the age of 2 years and 21 days. In its life with me it had been under 3 numbers, (2 Kerala, and 1 Karnataka).
It was ruthlessly taken away from me at one of the biggest mart in
Along with it, my 350 odd phone numbers, Key Combinations (although it takes time to find out which one is for what (encrypted in my own way)), pictures of loved ones, my addresses, my employee ID, a few of my bank details L.
IMEI :356233000862190
Make : Nokia
Model : 6021 (Bluetooth and IR)
May my “snadboy’s 6021” rest in peace, sorry to have you put down.

It's quite a common problem in Bangalore. I lost my wallet( lucky not the phone) along with my pan card and other cards from different banks. Some of my friends have lost phones. There is no virtually any support from the operator even if you tell them the IMEI number. Most of the phones are flashed with new software with some another IMEI number before they are resold. So this sytem leaves very little to get back the lost phone. Losing contact is the major problem. Have somebody heard of a 'Old' Hutch initiative to store contacts to their server?
thanks azlu,
wow you lost your wallet?
man thats sad. Well infact few of my contacts were recovered with eh hutch's backup on their servers. But since i was on roaming the contacts were a bit old.
But i did get a few back.
